Log Message:
Modify the Gtk library to use a varargs style more like the underlying
code conventions.  Add a little code to the Nasal module so as not to
affect the higher level library.

Note that these changes are based on an older version of the code, and
not Jonatan's current copy.  They are more didactic that functional.
